The cultivation of five faculties – faith, energy, mindfulness, concentration, and wisdom – produce a healthy and beautiful mind. These faculties offer a complete structure for meditative development and culminate with complete awakening. They are necessary features of meditative progress that can be undertaken as a sequential training or as a finely balanced system of wholesome forces. This fully online course will explore the five spiritual faculties, their placement in Buddhist teachings, and their cultivation in meditation.
