A concentrated mind is steady, stable, bright, malleable, agile, and proficient; it is fit for the work of penetrating insight. A wise mind discerns the path to the goal, distinguishes obstructions from assets, and nurtures concentration. Since concentration and insight function together to produce the conditions for awakening, we will strengthen both.
